The controller responsible for this website and for the processing of personal data is 2TECH Technology AG, Schwarzenburgstrasse 854, 3145 Niederscherli, Switzerland, e-mail info@2tech.ch.

The website is served from a server in Switzerland. When a page is requested, the web server records technical data in log files: IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser used. This data is used to operate and secure the website and is kept only as long as needed for that purpose.

The gastrocore.ch domain is managed with Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When requests pass through Cloudflare's network, Cloudflare processes the IP address and technical data of the request in order to deliver and protect the website.

The form on the contact page sends nothing to a server of this website. When you send it, your browser opens your e-mail program with a prepared e-mail to info@2tech.ch (2TECH Technology AG). It contains what you entered or chose in the form: company, first name and surname, phone, e-mail, type of request, preferred reply and, if filled in, product or service, town/city and message, plus a request number. If you request a quote from a product, its name is already in the message, and outside Switzerland also the country you chose or that was detected; you can change both before sending. 2TECH Technology AG receives these details only when you send this e-mail yourself, from your own e-mail account. The form stores nothing in your browser.

The demo till on the home page runs only in your browser. What you tap or type there is neither sent nor stored (no cookies, no local storage); the demo only loads its product list from this website. Reloading the page resets everything.

So that this website can show the prices and the language for your country, your browser asks the service “Country is” (api.country.is) of Line of Flight B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands, once on your first visit. With this request the provider receives your IP address and the technical details that a browser sends with every request (browser type, language setting and the address of this website, but not the page you are viewing); the request passes through Cloudflare's network. The provider answers only with the country code and states that it does not log requests. Of this lookup, only the two-letter country code and the time of the request are stored in your browser (localStorage); after 30 days the request is made again. If the request fails, the country is estimated from the language setting and the time zone of your browser. If you choose a country yourself at the bottom of the page, or a language in the menu, this choice is also stored only in your browser; it takes precedence over the automatic detection.

Two technical values are also kept in sessionStorage for the next page only: “2tech-country-top” (the chosen country, so that the page starts at the top after a country choice) and “2tech-vt-footer” (the position of the footer for the transition to the next page); the next page reads and deletes them at once, otherwise they go when the tab is closed, and they are not sent anywhere either.
